World-Traveler
I love to travel! The very first place I traveled outside of Minnesota was to London, England when I was 16 years old. Since then, I've been to Mexico, Italy, France, Germany, and Costa Rica, with many more countries on my bucket list.
Drum Corps Volunteer
I've been a volunteer with Chops Inc, a non-profit music arts and education group, since 2018, helping with lunch service, set construction (yay power tools!), costume alterations (yup, I can sew), marketing, social media graphics, and their website. In 2022, I joined the Chops Inc Board of Directors.
Budding Novelist
I am currently working on writing my first novel, Eve Immortal, a story about the world's original immortals and their epic war to return to Eden.
Travel Agent Hobbyist
I have a knack for creating custom travel plans and itineraries, locating the perfect hotel or rental, and finding cheap airfare, and have turned that passion into a very part-time/hobby travel advisor company, By The Way Travel, LLC.

From 2011-2018, I was a volunteer English and ESL teacher at Metro North Adult Basic Education, and designed and copyedited their bi-yearly Consortium newsletter.

Gluten-Free, Dairy-Free
My oldest daughter and I are both celiac, and, when I have the time, I enjoy the science and experimentation behind translating traditional recipes to be gluten- and dairy-free, and taste as good, or better, than the original.
